{Sweet Ryanne}

Ryanne came into the studio sweet as can be! This little peanut did great for her session and also gave us some sweet smiles (always the best)! We worked through all the setups planned in less than 90 minutes. Here are a few of my favorites as well as some Q&A with Ryanne's mama...

What's the first thing that ran through your mind when you both found out you were pregnant?

Life was about to get busy..er!

What was your birth experience like?

I went into labor on march 14 around 9am. The process was long, painful and exhausting. But at 9:11 on the morning of March 15 my little girl was born and nothing that occurred over the last 24 hours mattered. My husband and I were very emotional overwhelmed with joy!

What was the first thing you thought when you saw your baby for the first time?

My first words were "yeah! I finally get to meet you" I was just so happy she was healthy. I thought she was the most beautiful little girl I had ever seen.

What was your favorite part about our session together? How did you prepare the baby for our photo shoot? How did it turn out?

The session was fun and very comforting. I didn't have to do anything to prepare. Everything I needed to know was given to me before I asked. I just sat and watched the magic happen.

What would be your advice to someone getting newborn photographs taken?What kinds of things did you worry about before and during the session?

I was worried if she was going to need to be fed during the shoot, need diaper changes, if she was going to cooperate. The normal baby stuff that could interrupt the process. During the shoot I realized all of that was silly. Angie was incredibly patient and understanding. She was so good with Ryanne I didn't have to do anything but change a diaper or two.

Do you have other children? How do they react to the baby?

Between my husband and I we have 2 other children. My son is 7 and his daughter is 6. They both are so excited to have her in our family. The idea took some getting use to but once she was born the both fell in love with her. The first time she cried at the hospital Lukas sat by the crib holding her hand and sang to her until she calmed down.

When you book me as your newborn photographer, I love to hear about what you like. Your hobbies, your favorite sports teams, your favorite color. These are all great to work into a newborn session! If you are expecting and would like to schedule your newborn session, please don’t hesitate! I am based out of Reinholds but service people from Lancaster, Berks and Lebanon counties. It is best when you book while you are still pregnant. This way, you are guaranteed a spot on the schedule.
