Sydney is the first grandchild on her father's side and lives near both of her grandmothers. She also has two dogs.
Nothing sentimental, but we spend a lot of time at a Family Beach House in the summer, and I can't wait for Sydney to experience it and make memories with her friends and family there, so we brought items for a beach theme shoot.
Unfortunately, Sydney was not well prepared. I expected her to nap on the 50-minute drive to the studio, as it was perfectly timed for nap time. But, she stayed awake the whole way there and closed her eyes as we pulled in your driveway! But, I was lucky to have preparation help from my mom, who washed and ironed all of Sydney's outfits and helped me wrangle her during the session.
I was nervous because she missed an entire nap and was so tired. I was also having a very chaotic work week, so felt very rushed and stressed while preparing for the session. But it all turned out great and the beach scene/photo shop work is just amazing. Many friends have asked how we got such an idyllic and perfect beach scene, and how our baby was so clean and cooperative for photos on a beach ;-)
Watch every single day for some new trait/behavior/clue to their little personalities. She is now mobile, reactionary and vocal, so it is very rewarding to see her personality and abilities shine.
