Sweet Sadie

Sweet Sadie's mama is a friend of mine and I was so excited to be able to do her newborn photos! At 7 pounds, 3 ounces she was the perfect little baby! I asked Ashley about her labor and delivery and this is what she said -  "This was my second baby and the first baby came quickly so I was preparing for a similar experience...which happened! My water broke a little after 2, was at the hospital by 3 and she was born at 4:21am! She was born about 20 minutes after I got to my labor and delivery room! My mom and husband were there for her delivery."

Sadie was the perfect little client. She slept through *most* of her session and was easy peasy to work with! I asked her mama some questions about her experience. Take a look at what she had to say.

Angie's patience! Sadie was a typical unpredictable newborn. She was fussy and Angie didn't show one ounce of concern or frustration. She was poised and handled Sadie with love and care. You can tell she loves her job, newborns and making the process easy for the moms.

Such a hard decision because I honestly loved so many but she did really well on the bean bag, my favorite has to be the one I had framed for her room. It is her on the purple backdrop with the lilac wrap cascading behind her.

I didn't prepare too much because I've seen Angie's pictures and fully trusted her talent to capture the pictures. It was nice to fill out the pre-session questionnaire where you get to select colors, themes or ideas prior to arriving. She had all her things ready to go. Like I said, newborns are unpredictable if I was a first time mom I would have probably had more concerns but to any first time moms know that it is okay for the baby to cry, fuss or pee! It happens! These moments you will laugh at one day!

Relax!! You are a new mom-maybe for the first time-it is okay to relax a little and let them be a newborn. They are still figuring things out too!

I have a 3 1/2 year old and she's been way better than I expected. She loves her sister so much and is so sweet to her. She loves to touch her gently.

And now for the best part...here are some favorites from little miss Sadie's session.
