Jenna

I first had the pleasure of working with Jenna when she responded to a model call for a little girl. She brought her daughter in and we had so much fun! I was thrilled when Jenna told me she was expecting and then booked her maternity and newborn sessions with me! Here's a little Q&A I had with Jenna after her session and of course some beautiful photos from her maternity session!

What is the first thing that ran through your mind when you found out you were pregnant?
We were really excited and happy.

The most memorable part is knowing that this baby is going to be coming home with us. I was previously a surrogate and I really had to disconnect myself so that I wouldn't be so attached to the babies. Yes, it was twins!

In this pregnancy, I have been having cravings for ice cream or basically any sweets.

My favorite part of the sessions are that you have the clothes already there! It's so helpful and there's no stressing out about what to wear! Also, how you tell me how to pose. I would have no idea how to pose myself!

How did you prepare for our photo shoot? How was your experience? Were you nervous or worried before? How did it turn out?
I prepared by getting my hair done which was great since I didn't have to stress about that. My experience was excellent since I was so nervous and worried coming into the session. I think as your body changes with pregnancy, at times, you don't feel as beautiful as you did before pregnancy. I know I'm more self conscious about my body. Everything  turned out great and AEP really captured what I wanted to get out of the session.

I do! My favorite one is of me in a white dress and I am cradling my belly.

To try and relax as much as possible. Also, try and make things easier on yourself like getting your hair done so that your not stressing out the day of your session. Anything, that is going to be relaxing for yourself.

Do you have other children? How do they react to the pregnancy? Feel free to share a little about them here.
I have a seven year old boy and a four year old girl. i think they are both excited in their own way. My son really wanted a boy but I think he is going to be a great big brother to another girl! He already knows what he is doing! My four year old daughter is so excited! She talks to the baby everyday and even gave her the nickname "baby flowers."

When I went to look at the final images, I went in thinking I will be glad if there's a good one of just me and one of my husband and I. However, there was so many they were so great it was really hard to choose!
