Why Hire AEP?
Hiring a newborn photographer, or any photographer for that matter, can be pretty intimidating. How do you know if you're making the right choice? What if you don't love the photos? What if you don't get along? So many things run through your head before booking. I sat down with some past clients to ask them a few questions about their experience with AEP. You can hear first hand from other women the apprehensions they had and why they chose to book me.
What was hands down your favorite part of your session?
"We are NOT photogenic people and are clueless when it comes to photos...you walked us through it step by step and now we have amazing pictures." -Deidre
"Your enthusiasm and passion that shows through your photos and how you interact with the newborns as well as the adults." -Alyssa
"Your creativity and willingness to sing "if you're happy and you know it" a hundred times for a good smile LOL!" -Ashley
"The ease of conversation with you" -Stephanie
"Our son would not stay still for his Christmas pictures. You were so patient and quick when he was near the props - we have great pictures of him!" -Nicole
"How you are so patient and fun! And also I love that you tell your clients exactly how to pose, and the finished product still looks so natural." -Sonya
"The way you made us feel so pretty and comfortable during the session." -Andee
"We were really impressed by how great you were with soothing her and the great pictures you captured." -Jackie
"Your patience and creativity. You always captured the best photos of my princess." -Amanda
"You interacted so well with my son." -Marie
"Your ability to always make your sessions comfortable, non intimidating, and fun! Your ability to make all the mommies to be feel beautiful when being 7 months pregnant is definitely not when we feel our best. And lastly your ability to be the baby whisperer! All the shushing, butt patting, and bouncing you did in our session was probably more than I've done in her almost 5 months of life! And it worked, our photos are amazing and you always managed to get the shot!" -Lisa
What apprehensions did you have before your session? How did the session to compared to what you expected?
"I was definitely apprehensive about how I/you would get a baby to cooperate for such a long time period and with changing backdrops and props." -Alyssa
"That my son would not cooperate. Went about as I expected but you were great about it and it didn't affect the outcome of our session." -Stephanie
"That I'd be so nervous the pictures wouldn't turn out good and I wouldn't know how to pose. Went totally opposite: the pictures turned out amazing because you told us how you wanted us to stand and great tips for fantastic pictures." -Andee
We like to add special touches to each session either through props, posing or little gifts. Was there a special touch during or after your session that you loved?
"I love how you sent me an ornament of Mia after our Christmas mini that was a huge surprise to me and also how you sent Mia a gift for her first trip to Florida. You always threw little surprises my way and I loved it. It was nice." -Amanda
"I loved all the little headband props that you had for Norah, but my absolute favorite was the locket." -Alyssa
"I liked that Parker got fruit snacks for listening." -Stephanie
"Yes I liked the baby toy you gave Clint after his newborn session, also if you ever added a free print that was much appreciated!" -Sonya
I understand that custom photography is an investment. What would you say to someone who is on the fence about booking?
"Plan. If you know you want it, plan it out financially. Do a little at a time so it's not a frustrating. It's a worthy investment." -Megan
"You can't put a price on having good pictures to look back on." -Stephanie
"It's definitely worth the investment. Either you set the money aside each month and plan for when you want to do them or make a payment plan with your photographer. Doing custom photography was the best decision I ever made way better then JcPenney and you're more comfortable." -Amanda
"Research, plan and talk with photographer. Even just a few photos for keepsake will be special. And the right photographer will capture the perfect moments. You will find Angie's photo breath taking. Yes it is an investment. But your family will enjoy these long after you are gone. My daughter will be able to tell that she was loved from moment we found out about her." -Deidre
"It is definitely an investment but it is something so worth it and you'll have to treasure forever!" -Alyssa
Why did you choose AEP for your photography needs?
"We've been using you for over a year now. Initially we got in for a model session and we liked how comfortable things were and the quality for our investment." -Stephanie
"You came very highly recommended, I love your style, and your pictures turn out beautifully!" -Andee
