Wildflower Sessions Are Coming Back (and They’re Even More Special Than You Think)
There’s a short window every year where everything just feels…softer.
The light stretches a little longer. The air is warm but not heavy. And tucked away in this quiet field, the wildflowers bloom in a way that feels almost too beautiful to be real.
It’s one of those things that doesn’t last and maybe that’s why I love these sessions so much.
When families come out here, there’s a lightness in the air. The kids are in awe. They explore, show me their favorites, and twirl without being asked. Moms start out a little unsure (like we all do), and then slowly…they settle in.
And what I end up capturing isn’t perfect poses.
It’s the way your child reaches for your hand without thinking.
The way you laugh at something small.
The way this season of your life actually feels right now.
That’s what makes these sessions different.
Why these are only offered once a year
I don’t offer wildflower sessions often and that’s intentional.
The bloom doesn’t last long.
The light has to hit just right.
And I only take a handful of families so every session feels relaxed, unhurried, and genuinely enjoyable.
This isn’t a rushed “smile at the camera and we’re done” kind of thing.
It’s slow, intentional, and honestly… really fun.
